What Happens When Money Is Wired To A Closed Saving’s Account?

I accidentally had someone wire money to my saving’s account that I closed about a year ago ’cause I switched to Money Market. Does anyone know what would happen? Thanks!

    I had a similar situation. The money will go back to the sender’s account. if it was paid in cash the sending institution will have it. Just make sure the sender has his reciept if it was cash if not you might face losing your money.
