In Outlook, When I Go Into Signatures>advanced Edit It Brings Up Notepad Instead Of Word. How Do I Fix This?

I can not edit a signature in outlook … the advanced edit tool (which normally brings up Word with text/image editing) brings up notepad instead. Does anyone know how to correct this problem?
