I’m looking for a movie featuring intensely emotional scenes that would be appropiate to show children ages 9 to 15. The movie/scene could be about children or about adults. Since 9 to 15 is a large range, there could be one movie that fits the bill or a couple of movies appropriate for 9 to 12 year olds and 12 to 15 year olds, for example. Thank you.
A family member passed away last year and left $5,000 dollars to each of my children. The money currently sits in an annuity, something that I am not familiar with other than a brief internet education. Is there a better, and more productive way to invest this money that will enable it to potentially grow at a better rate than the annuity?
I would like to know what people do to teach there kids about these things. Like do you teach your children about different beliefs on the subjects of truth and love ect… And also what do you expect to be taught about these subjects in schools?
I’m fifteen and im leaving school in june next year and ive a careers adviser coming out tomorrow at 3 o’clock and im going to be telling what i want to do when i leave school, I did want to be a midwife until i read a book about emotional and abused children and now i really want to help kids like that now….What kind of jobs are there and if so leave the website

I think this is a pretty abstract concept, but I babysit a 3 year old girl who seems to have grasped it on her own. I don’t know where she picked this up from and neither do her parents. If someone she doesn’t know very well asks if she loves them she says, “No!!! I only like you,” and she only reserves saying love for special people in her life. Do other kids do this?
I think it is important a child receives love throughout the day. A big reason I am worried about preschool is that his teacher won’t love him, children need love and nurturing to grow. I have a week to decide if he goes to preschool, I still haven’t met his teacher who will be in next week. What do I do? What do you think about preschool and love?
I’ve split up from their dad after lots of bullying and emotional/ physical abuse.
I want to know how I can protect me children emotionally so we can all recover from this and move forward happily and they don’t carry this into their future.

My husband and I have had custody of the children (ages 5, 8 and (9) (our grandchildren) for 3 years, but have mostly raised them because of the parents’ unstable relationship. Now the parents (mostly son-in-law) feel that they want the kids back with them, which is about 4 hours away from us. But this past visit the 8-yr-old was afraid to go to the bathroom for fear that daddy would hurt mommy because they were fighting. Isn’t this emotional or mental abuse?
If our children are to respect the environment, they must form a love of it and a connection to it.
How do we encourage this without them actually contributing to it’s destruction?
