My friend is getting married today and normally, I give personal gifts, but now I’m thinking back to all the wedding gifts I got, and so many of them are still stored in our storage locker (and we’ve been married for 5 years!) I have one friend who has $20.00 in the bank and another friend with close to $6,000.00 in the bank and i have like $150.00 in the bank, so I was just wondering what is the normal average amount of money college students usually have?

I would like to be a book editor when I graduate from college, but I was wondering how much money do book editors make on average? I’m asking because I want to be able to live pretty comfortably (a nice house/appartment, food, heating, pets, etc) on my own, and I want to know if I would have enough money to do that. Also, should I major in English? I know that sounds like a stupid question, but is it usually required that the person wanting to be a book editor majored in English? Thank you!
