How Do I Select Particular Parts In Windows Notepad? Is There A Free Software For That?

I copied some tables from Excel to Windows notepad. However, the table values were written in same line. It would take time to separate them. And I want to select particular rows in notepad to copy but it selects unwanted parts too. So do you know any software that can edit or select particular parts in notepad. I can’t be able to choose any rows. Thanks

    Hi,
Not aware of any special software to achive what you wish, however there is something you can do to avoid selecting more than you want.
Open notepad file and with mouse click to left of first character you want to copy so curser is flashing there.
Now hold your SHIFT key down, and press right arrow until you have highlighted all you wish to copy. If you goto far, just keep holding SHIFT down and tap the left arrow to move back a step.
Now just press CTRL key and C key together to copy, and then paste whereever by pressing CTRL key and V key together

PS. If you have multiple lines you wish to copy while holding shift key down press the down arrow to highlight lines, then when you get to last line you want to copy, if needed, you can press the left arrow to back up a little on that line to the point you want to copy.
